Bug out bag / get home bag survival kit

This is the typical layout of my Camelbak BFM.

This is the bag itself. There is a PAL SafeLight from the Survival.com store clipped to the side. This is so I can find the bag if the lights go out. It's proven useful more than once.

Next pocket in:
Keychain light lives in this pocket, on the keyfob that is sewn in. This is so I can find stuff in the dark.

Closer detail of the sleeping bag and my small ration pack:
  • Small ration pack contents:

  • Four Cheese instant mashed potatoes (fatty fat fat fat for the win)
coffee is in a mesh bag that can be used for drying clothes or as a net for fish /etc.
Interior mesh pocket contents:

The drink tube on this has had an inline water filter connector spliced in. This lets me refill the bladder without digging it out of the back pocket which can be a bit of a pain if the ruck is packed tight.
